How much does a drone video in Mallorca cost?

It is the first question in almost every conversation and almost nobody answers it on their website. Let us answer it, with the usual caveat: every project is different and these are market ranges, not a fixed tariff. (For an instant figure: the quote calculator.)

The ranges, by type of job

Aerial photography of a property: €300–450

Half a day of shooting, 15 to 25 retouched aerial and eye-level photographs. This is the typical job for a property portal listing. No video.

Property video for portal and social: €400–800

Half a day of shooting, an edited piece of 60 to 90 seconds, vertical and square versions, and a selection of stills. The range rises if there is an interior drone fly-through or if two light windows are needed.

Event or sports coverage: €450–900 per day

It depends mostly on the complexity of the coordination: a closed event on an estate is nothing like a cycling race covering 40 kilometres of open road.

Corporate or brand piece: from €1,500

Here we are talking production, not aerial shooting: script, mixed air and ground shoot, interviews if there are any, licensed music, colour grading and a round of revisions. The upper end of this kind of job comfortably exceeds €3,000.

Wedding: €600–1,200

Aerial coverage coordinated with the video and photography team, a highlights piece and social clips. The range depends on how many hours of the day are covered.

Agricultural services: per hectare

Crop analysis and application are quoted by area, with a minimum service charge. The unit price drops notably above a certain size and with seasonal contracts.

What pushes a quote up

• Airspace authorisation. In and around Palma the process consumes admin time and requires planning weeks ahead.
• Shooting in two light windows. Sunrise and sunset on the same day means two trips and two equipment setups.
• Urgency. Delivering in 24 hours means reorganising the post-production schedule.
• Extended usage rights. Use on television or in a paid campaign is not the same as use on your own website and social channels.
• Multiple locations. Every move is 30–60 minutes not spent filming.

What should not push it up

• Insurance and operator registration. That is always included; if someone charges it separately, that is a bad sign.
• Delivery formats. Getting the video in vertical too is standard in 2026, not an extra.
• A reasonable round of revisions.

How to compare two quotes

Comparing the bottom line is almost never useful. What you should look at is:

1. How many hours of shooting are included and in which time window.
2. Exactly what is delivered: length of the piece, number of photographs, formats.
3. Whether the edit is included or billed separately.
4. Which usage rights are granted and for how long.
5. Whether revisions are included and how many.

A €350 quote with no edit and a €600 quote with a finished piece, social versions and one revision are not comparable, even though both say “drone video”.

The most expensive mistake

Hiring on price from someone with no registered operator status and no insurance. If there is an incident on a private estate with guests, the liability does not stop at the pilot. Always ask for the operator number and the insurance certificate: they take a minute to send, and whoever does not have them will not send them.
